The first nub in the road.

We are the nubs - Bailey and Hannan. We find our day to day lives pretty hilarious, so we decided to make a blog about it.

buy nub mugs, tshirts and magnets official definition: an internet acronym, similar to "noob". HOWEVER, whilst a NOOB is someone who is lame/idiotic because he is new, a NUB is someone who has had the opportunity to learn something new, but never did, and is therefore idiotic/stupid. nub  (nb) n. 1. A protuberance or knob. 2. A small lump. 3. The essence; the core: the nub of a story. While these are the dictionary definitions for our favourite word "nub", we use it in a multitude of fantastical and creative ways. For example: 1. You are a nub! (bad): This is used when someone does something to frustrate you. 2. Awww ya nub! (affectionate): This is used when someone does something cute or nice for you. 3. He was such a nub!: This is used when someone is particularly socially awkward, eg Connor, or Hannan's dad at a party. 4. Can you bring me that nub?: Used when the name of an object does not spring to mind in time. 5. Just stand on that nub there: Used when referring to a hill, or other irregular landform. 6. Nubby: The nickname of our good friend Francie. Now that we have the term "nub" down pat, let's get back to the story... Bailey and Hannan met in the summer of '06, as eleven year old nubs, one considerably larger than the other. It was simply meant to be, two nubs, who had previously been drifting along the road of life alone, now united to create one hell of a blog. Of course there is more to the story than this, but we'll get down to that later. Let's get to know us better... Bailey: I am 15 years old, I like cats a tremendous amount, I enjoy chocolate on a regular basis and a love a good dose of Facebook. All in all, a typical teenage girl. On the surface! I also make a habit of fountain-climbing/dashing at every new place I visit. I enjoy spontaneous swims while fully clothed, and am the man at making banana muffins and developing obsessions. People get annoyed at me because I tend to correct their grammar at inappropriate times. I once had a pet rabbit called Benjamin. We found him and loved him as if he were our own. He lived in his hutch sometimes, and in the lounge at others. Hannan: 16 Years old, like Bailey I enjoy cats, a great deal more than I should at my age... I also have a wild obsession for tea, so much so that I have had a cup or two every single day of my life since I was 12... What a cool life I have. I'm already a 70 year old cat lady who drinks tea a lot at only age 16!!!!! Sadly, although I have a passion for cats I do not have one anymore. Two years ago I did, his name was Diver and he was my life. I used to talk to my cat in a little voice and although he never spoke back I could see it in his eyes that even he thought I was a nutcase. My poor little cattie died in a car accident. Underage drivers killed my cat. Now other than tea and cats I do have other aspects to my life such as art and drama. I also enjoy fashion, like my fellow nub Bailey.  I'd better shut up now, its getting awkward for myself.... And now, dear readers (or reader), we must depart.  Hasta Luego! B&H :)
