Nub Talk: Mi Goreng

Yo!
I know we haven't posted in ages but we've been pretty busy with important things like swimming and exams and watching TV and eating Mi Goreng.
Here's an incident that happened the other day at the beach:
We have been talking in the "skuxx voice" a lot recently, to the point where we do not even realise when we're doing it anymore. It involves talking at a high pitch and with a slightly Samoan accent, whereby simulating a skuxx.

Skuxx

A "gangsta" who trys to be cute but also maintain his "tough cunt" act. the result is a man whore with no individuality.

some one who low rides his skinny jeans, wears hi top pumas and "cranks the tunes" through his phone at the back of the bus. -skuxx

P.S. No offence intended to anyone, we love our Samoan neighbours! In fact Hannan's aunty is Samoan!

So anyway, we were at the beach having a swim and talking like skuxxes when we got caught in a giant crop of seaweed. The darkness that then overcame us led us to the conclusion that there was a giant ocean goat in our midst, also known as a great white shark. We fled, as fast as one can flee when aqua jogging through a huge tangled mess of seaweed, back out of the patch and looked out to sea. I pointed out to where the waves were breaking and screamed "It's a great WHITE shark!" Yeah we thought it was awesome because I put the emphasis on the word white, but this story isn't going anywhere. Well it was funny when you there and the skuxx voices were involved, but no this story is too far gone to save. And then we found 50 bucks! Well we didn't but... Cool story bro.

So... Now that you think we are nubs let us redeem ourselves by showing you this fantastic t-shirt!

Do you know what's a good band? Mumford and Sons. A gooooood band. It's folk. Which is pretty weird, but it's cool.

Hannan's brother looks like a coal miner right now, his shirt is all grubby and black and his hair is a mess. Looks like he's right out of Chile! No offence of course, one of those trapped miners was Hannan's nephew.

Ohh and here's another funny anecdote!

We were just on the bus one day when we passed a street called Gore Street. Hannan was so excited she couldn't contain herself.

"Wow!" she exclaimed, "Gore Street! Imagine if a murder happened there!" At that point, half of the passengers turned around and shook their heads. Another thing which we found a lot funnier than the general public... Ironically, a murder happened there two weeks later. No it didn't, I just made it up. For dramatic effect.

Oh and today was great! It was prank day at school, which is where all the year 13s (the people in their last year of school) celebrate their last day by terrorising the rest of the school by putting up embarrassing photos and throwing shit all over us. Well not shit. That would be gross.

So anyway, as I was walking in to school with Hannan and Francie, we saw all the year thirteens forming a mob with their water guns and buckets of water and shaving cream and honey, so we made a dash for the science block. But alas! There was one feisty one guarding the entrance. Francie weaved past her and Hannan was still behind me, so I was forced to face the beast in the toga. She yelled at me "Get over there!" and I screamed "Noooooo!"

She grabbed my arms and looked into my eyes. Then it was on. We wrestled and I clawed her in my desperation to escape, but she must have known some kind of kung fu because she had that shit going on. Then I broke free and ran! For about two seconds, when she grabbed my bag and pulled me back, and my arms flailed around me. I turned quickly, this way and that, whacking her with every chance. Finally she grew tired and released me, and I ran to meet up with my "friends" who had been watching on in amusement, choosing to ignore my pleas for help.
